ADMISSION PROCESS

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

i) The Candidate Should be an Indian National and domiciled or born in Maharashtra and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects Sciences and Mathematics / Social Sciences (History / Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education / Library) / Humanity Sciences (All Languages and Literature) / Commerce and secured minimum 50% marks in case of Open and EWS Candidates (Minimum 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories) from the University in the State of Maharashtra.

OR

ii) The Candidate should be an Indian National and domiciled or born in Maharashtra and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree with subjects in Engineering and Technology / (with Science and Mathematics as a special subjects) / Bachelor’s Degree with the subjects: Management / Engineering / Computers / Law / Information -Technology / Agriculture / BBI / Medical Sciences / All Social Sciences / Fine Art / Performing Art (Music / Dance / Drama etc.) and secured minimum 55% marks for Open and EWS Candidates (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class categories) from the University in the State of Maharashtra.

OR

The Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree recognized as an equivalent degree by the Government of Maharashtra, to the Bachelor’s Degree and / or Master’s Degree in subjects mentioned in (i) and (ii) above.

OR

The candidate should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree given by Open University incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature.

OR

The candidate should be appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 Non Zero Score in MAH-B.Ed.CET -2020 for other than English Medium Colleges.

All India Candidature Candidates:

Other State Candidates:

i) The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / NCTE with minimum 55% of marks for all categories.

OR

ii) The candidate should be appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 Years’ duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / NCTE. Such candidate can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree examination with minimum 55% of marks.

Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Migrant Candidature Candidates:

i) The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / NCTE with minimum 55% of marks for all categories.

OR

ii) The candidate should be appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / NCTE. Such candidate can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree examination with minimum 55% of marks.

NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National Students/CIWGC Candidature:

i) The candidate should have valid NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National/CIWGC Documents mentioned in special instructions to candidates below and should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act, 1956 of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline, from the University recognized and Approved by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India / NCTE with minimum 55% of marks.

Important Note:

  1. Aggregate marks means the Grand Total of Marks obtained by the Candidate at the Degree in all Years/ semesters of the recognized University on which the Class/ Grade and Degree is awarded to the Candidate.
  2. In case the candidates are awarded Grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of Grade/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the Formula/Procedure certified by the Board/ University/Institution who has awarded the same. It is obligatory on the part of the candidate to bring the Conversion Certificate from the Board/ University/ Institution and upload the same along with Mark List/ Marks Memo.
  3. Candidates should fill the marks obtained by them, awarded by the University/Examining body for the Award of the Degree. Some Universities award Class, Grade and Degree on the basis of All Three Years’ Degree marks, Some Universities award Degree/Class/Grade on basis of Second and /Third Year marks taken together. Candidates should study the pattern of the University and Fill in the correct marks.
  4. Some Universities have semester pattern and GPA of All Semester is totaled and CGPA is shown. The Universities give CGPA to Marks or % Formula the candidates should use that to fill in the Correct Marks. Candidates should verify the formula before using it.
  5. If the candidate enters wrong marks and in the college level verification the admission is rejected to the candidate, the candidate will be responsible for the loss. If such case is observed at the DHE/ ARA at the time physical verification of documents, the Admission will be cancelled by ARA and any litigation arising out of it will be faced by the Admitting College. If any expenses on the litigation is incurred by CET CELL/ ARA the same will be recovered from the Admitting College.

FEES & REFUND RULES

Maharashtra & OMS-Open / General Category Candidates

The candidates selected for admission should pay the fees under different heads and as prescribed by Shikshan Shulka Samiti from time to time. The exact amount of the fees payable by the candidate will be notified at the time of admission. The fees for B.Ed I year is interim fees and the SSS declares the final fees by September/October of each Academic Year. In case the final fees are less than the interim fees, the Institute refunds the fees within a month. Likewise, if the final fees are more than the interim fees, the students have to deposit the fees within a month.

Fees Payment

DD: The fees are paid by D.D. drawn in favour of ‘DIRECTOR, Sulochana Belhekar Samajik Va Bahuudeshiya Shikshan Sanstha, Bhanashiware

Other Fees

Other fees charged by the University are to be paid by the students as per the time schedule announced by the University.

Note

The examination fees will be as prescribed by Savitribai Phule Pune University from time to time.

Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fees, Return of Documents by Institutions

(a) The Candidate shall apply online or offline for cancellation and submit a duly signed copy of the system-generated application or handwritten application for cancellation of admission to the Institution. Once the Candidate submits an online or offline request for cancellation, his admission shall be treated as cancelled. The Institute shall consider the online or offline request made by the Candidate for cancellation as final irrespective of whether he has submitted a duly signed copy of the system-generated application or handwritten application to the institute. Upon such cancellation, the Candidate shall lose the claim on the seat and such seat shall become available for further allotment. The Candidate shall then become entitled to and the institute shall refund the entire fee to the Candidate after deduction of Rs.1000/- towards processing charge and refund all his original documents submitted to the Institute within two days from submission of a duly signed copy of the system-generated application or handwritten application to the institute.

(b) Notwithstanding clause (a) above, Candidate shall not be entitled to any refund of his fee except the Security Deposit and Caution Money Deposit if the online cancellation is effected by the Candidate after 5.00 p.m. of the cut-off date prescribed by the Competent Authority.

(c) No Institution, which has in its possession or custody, of any document in the form of certificates of Degree, Diploma or any other award or other document deposited with it by a person for the purpose of seeking admission in such Institution, shall refuse to return such Degree, Certificate, award, or other document with a view to inducing or compelling such person to pay any fee or fees in respect of any course or program of study which such person does not intend to pursue or avail any facility in such Institution. But Institutions and the Candidates will be bound to submit the original documents for Admission Verification if DHE/ ARA demands them.

The Institution shall not recover the fees for the subsequent years from the student seeking cancellation of his admission at any point in time.
